All Official Selection Films are entitled to a US Broadcast deal offer from Shorts International Limited on Shorts TV. In addition to this, the GRAND JURY, GRAND LIVE ACTION, GRAND DOCUMENTARY, GRAND ANIMATION & GRAND STUDENT winners are entitled to distribution deals with Shorts International Limited if they don’t currently have representation. The major award winners will also receive a Financial Analysis, Script Analysis & Consultation with the Executive Producer Team at Slated for a new feature film screenplay.

Over the last three years, 40% of our official selection came from FilmFreeway. This included the Grand Prize Winners for short and feature films in 2017 and our Grand Audience winner in 2018. We would love to have more FilmFreeway submitters on our winners list in 2020!

$2000 cash prize, take that cash and put it towards your next short film!

Distribution Deal with Shorts International Limited

To support the independent artist, we got rid of conventional deadlines and fees. All in-competition short films can be submitted for a flat fee of $28 (only $18 for students)! However, for one week only we are offering 25% off to make it even more accessible - especially in light of the financial impact that the COVID-19 crisis has had on our global community. PLEASE READ: This discount DOES NOT apply to a “Submission with Feedback.” If you use the code on one of these categories, your film will be considered submitted, but you will not receive a refund or feedback. Please see our profile for more information on our screening process. USE CODE: P25F and submit by midnight on April 14th.
