ABOUT EDITION  2

Wench Film Festival is India's first Fantastic Film Festival made by women, for women inclusive of BIWOC, LGBTQ+ women, and non-binary filmmakers. “Women” includes all those who identify as a woman. Period.

WFF supports, encourages and celebrates women and non-binary storytellers by not only providing a platform to showcase their craft but also through film screenings, discussions, and professional development opportunities as well as incorporating International Women’s Day events into its programming.

In Edition Two we hope to being a Hybrid property with a focus on growing a thriving and engaged community. The festival will be held on March 4-6, 2022 Physical (all depending on COVID rules) and March 4-14, 2022 Virtual.

(PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PHYSICAL PART OF THE FESTIVAL CAN CHANGE DUE TO THE COVID SITUATION HENCE WE HAVE NOT SELECTED A VENUE YET.  WE WILL ANNOUNCE THE SAME SHORTLY.  PLEASE CHECK HERE OR ON OUR WEBSITE www.wenchfilmfestival.com FOR UPDATES.)

We have tied up with NYX Horror Collective, Final Girls Berlin, and Fatale Collective to have this conversation on a BLOODY WORLD STAGE and will screen their selections to our audiences in India.

WFF Will ONLY Screen films Directed by Women and Non-Binary Filmmakers. We do however have a special category for Male Filmmakers who have directed films with a central female plot.

Films completed after March 2018 are eligible.
