Filmmakers, please note!
UNIFIED FILMMAKERS FESTIVAL are looking for stories about experiences during and after the crisis. Stories about magical moments on balconies and the nightmare of being locked in; about new-found closeness and oppressive confinement; about a change of attitude sparking new hopes as well as fears.
- The Festival is looking for these stories in the form of short films, which will be presented within the scope of the UNIFIED FILMMAKERS FESTIVAL. The festival will be realised in cooperation with one of the largest film festivals in Germany, FILMFEST MÜNCHEN, and other renowned partners.
- Over 30 different calls for submission will be published worldwide through the network of festival partners. Starting in November 2020, the festival will invite filmmakers from all over the world to submit their visions and impressions – regardless of genre.
- There are only two categories: films under 2 minutes and films between 2 and 15 minutes in length. All submissions will be presented on the festival's website and via it’s own YouTube channel.
- The submission deadline is 31th January 2021. All submitted films will go online on 1st March until 31st July 2021 .
- The winner of the Audience Award will be voted for online over a period of 5 months.
The award will be presented at FILMFEST MÜNCHEN 2021 (24 June-4 July, 2021)
during which the following films will be shown:
* The best films voted by the audience
* The best films selected by an international jury of filmmakers A 90-minute compilation of all submitted films will also be presented.
